IP Address for Business DSL Service: 

Saddleback Communications standard DSL service provides for dynamically allocated IP addresses via DHCP.  This means that each time a computer connects to the Saddleback network to access the Internet a new IP address is assigned for that session.  DHCP works well for the large majority of users.  Some users, however, may require that they have a Static IP address, which means the computer keeps the same IP address every time it connects to Saddleback.  Static IP addresses are usually only required for VPN applications or if the computer is used as a Web server. 

If required, Saddleback Communications can provide a Static IP address for an additional $5.00 per month and $25.00 installation for each DSL service.
